Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education Barrister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhoury MP was present as the Chief Guest of the program. The Project Director (Additional Secretary) of the iDEA Project Syed MojibulHuq was present as the special guest.

 The iDEA project's senior consultant R. H. M. Alaol Kabir was also present at the program including different directors from the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Chittagong Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CWCCI).

As the chief guest,  Mohibul Hassan Chowdhoury MP said, "The youth should play a leading role in the development of Chattogram." He also added that in order to build the "Digital Bangladesh" of the Prime Minister's dream, we need to give special attention to innovation and productivity and called upon the youth to come forward to build a knowledge-based economy.

The Project Director (Additional Secretary) of the iDEA Project Syed MojibulHuq, welcomed the initiative of Startup Chattogram. He inspires all startups to become successful entrepreneurs by developing their skills by taking appropriate training.

"Startup Chattogram Incubation” is a 50-day long one-stop program, where selected startups will get intensive sessions on all business-related aspects like - Storytelling and Pitch Deck, Networking, Finance, Sales & Distribution, Business Operations, Marketing & Branding, HR Management, Legal Advice, Technology, Business Models etc. 

These will go a long way in enhancing the knowledge and skills of startups. At the end of this training, startups will be able to apply for a pre-seed grant of BDT 10 Lakh under iDEA Project. This time, 20 startups got selected out of 160 startup ideas and individual participants for the Startup Chattogram Incubator program.

Startup Bangladesh, Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Academy (iDEA) project, and Life couch Bangladesh have collaborated as partners in this event.
